The Future Food & Agriculture Platform, a collaboration between the Office of Research Affairs at Chulalongkorn University(Research Chula), and the Academic Service Center of Chulalongkorn University (Chula Unisearch), welcomed Dr. Atthawet Prueksathaporn, President of Dusit Thani College, along with the college's administrators on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. The visit, held at meeting room 406, on the fourth floor of the Chulalongkorn University Research Building, included a tour of the Department of Food Technology Laboratory in the Faculty of Science.

The distinguished Chulalongkorn University team was led by Dr. Supichai Tangjaitrong, Director of Chula Unisearch; Dr. Adshariya Agsornintara, Director of Research Chula; Assoc. Prof. Jirarat Anuntagool, Ph.D., Director of the Future Food & Agriculture Platform; Prof. Chanathip Pharino, Ph.D., former Assistant to the President of Research Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Suwimol Sapwarobol, Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Academic and Educational Affairs, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences; Asst. Prof. Kunanya Masodsai, Ph.D., Assistant Dean, Faculty of Sports Science; and Assoc. Prof. Kitipong Assatarakul, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Food Technology Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University.

ในการนี้ ได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้เกี่ยวกับเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมอาหาร เช่น นวัตกรรมอาหารทางการแพทย์สำหรับผู้ป่วยและผู้ที่ต้องการดูแลสุขภาพ การพัฒนาอาหารใหม่สำหรับนักกีฬาอาชีพและผู้ที่ให้ความสำคัญกับการออกกำลังกาย ไปจนถึงการหารือความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนโดยจุฬาฯ และวิทยาลัยดุสิตธานี เพื่อสร้างบุคลากรที่สามารถด้านโภชนาการและการแปรรูปอาหารผสานกับศิลปะการประกอบอาหารเพื่อสร้างผลิตภัณฑ์และบริการใหม่ที่มีมูลค่าเพิ่มซึ่งจะช่วยยกระดับธุรกิจการบริการอาหารของประเทศในอนาคต

The meeting included an exchange of knowledge on food technology and innovation, focusing on innovative medical food for patients and individuals needing health care and the development of specialized diets for professional athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The discussion also covered the potential cooperation in curriculum development between Chulalongkorn University and Dusit Thani College, aiming to produce graduates who can integrate nutrition, food processing, and culinary arts. This initiative seeks to create value-added products and services that will enhance the country's food service industry.
